Volunteering

Volunteers are the core of everything we do here at The Old Moat. They work across the centre to support us in the delivery of our wellbeing services.

A volunteer might be found working closely with those we support to carry out horticultural tasks for example stocking up, working on our vegetable patches or caring for our plants.

We also rely on our volunteers to provide invaluable support in our busy shop, operating the till, assisting customers and mentoring others.

In the café our volunteers gradually learn to work in all areas, if they wish, and might be found making hot drinks, preparing food or clearing tables.

As a charity, we would not be able to run our fantastic wellbeing service without the support and dedication of our amazing volunteers.

If you would like to be part of our dynamic volunteer team you’ll need to complete an application form and be at least 18 years old. If we think that you’ll be a great addition to our team we will be in touch to arrange an interview.

If you have any questions please contact Debbie Dibble, Team Manager on: 01372 731 971 or debbie.dibble@richmondfellowship.org.uk.
